Trista Hendrickson

Trista Hendrickson is a portrait painter from Minneapolis, MN and is located in the Casket Arts Building. She received a BFA degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Trista’s work consists primarily of popular culture icons. The style is comprised of simple layers of shapes and colors, deconstructed with dynamic contouring. Popular culture imagery is seen every day, and multiple times a day – to the point where it’s almost transparent because of over commercialization and digested in quantity. Her painting style gives these powerful and unique images new life and emotion.
